About the role

This is a 9-month position requiring 8 hours per day.

Education and Experience

• High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.)
• Experience working with children and youth

Candidates selected for this position will be required to complete CCSD Campus Security Monitor training prior to their start date. Training includes online modules, a physical agility test, and a full-day defensive tactics training. Successful trainees must maintain their Campus Security Monitor certificate for the duration of the assignment.

Licenses and Certifications

• A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card
• Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization (must include hands-on training; online-only courses are not accepted)
• Current Clark County School District Campus Security Monitor certificate, if already acquired

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional work experience with children and youth
• Bilingual preferred

Required Documents at Time of Application

• High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.)
• Copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card
• Current CPR/AED certificate (front and back copy must be uploaded)
• Current CCSD Campus Security Monitor Certificate, if already in possession
• Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications

Out-of-district applicants must disclose the three most recent years of work experience, including dates of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work under the “Experience and Credentials” section of the application.
