Campus Safety Officer - Part-time

Position Overview

Mount Marty University invites applications for a Campus Safety Officer (CSO). This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position that must adhere to the regulations stipulated in the Mount Marty University Employee Handbook. Campus Safety Officers (CSO) will assist in providing safety to individuals on campus property and maintaining the security of campus buildings, facilities, parking lots, walkways, and grounds of the University. CSOs provide escort services and other safety services as needed and perform routine security and public safety patrol duties to maintain a safe environment for Mount Marty University and Sacred Heart Monastery. Officers must remain alert to all unusual activity especially emergency situations and provide first-line response, emergency management and/or referral if necessary.

About the Role

This is a night shift position. Commitment to the mission of Mount Marty University. Applicants are required to pass a standard background check.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and operate security systems
• The duties assigned are completed by foot patrol
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Commitment to the mission of Mount Marty University
• Required to pass a standard background check
