Campus Safety Officer: 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Conducts patrols of school properties and inspects all access points, buildings, doors, and windows to secure the campus and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Receives, screens, and responds to incoming calls, and notifies key personnel of major incidents or emergencies in a timely manner.
• Notifies appropriate personnel promptly in the event of major incidents or emergencies and uses the REACH system to distribute emergency notifications to the school community as needed.
• Affords assistance and strong customer service to visitors and guests.
• Enforces the safety rules, regulations, and policies of Miss Hall's School.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a technology-rich environment with strong computer skills, including preparing reports and using the web-based Emergency Notification System.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain valid certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid (American Heart Association preferred).
• A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• High ethical standards, strong boundaries, and sensitivity to the needs of an adolescent, all-girls population.

Pay

Pay range $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Schedule

Campus Safety Officers should expect to work a shift schedule that could include days, evenings and/or overnights, along with weekends and holidays.
