About the role

The Campus Safety Associate plays a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus.

Responsibilities

• Responds to evening and overnight concerns, knowing College resources and delegating concerns for timely and appropriate responses.
• Locks and unlocks campus buildings according to set schedule and events schedule.
• Responds to emergency situations routed through the information center and forwards messages to the appropriate individual.
• Responds to fire and other mechanical alarms.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance.
• Affixes to parking enforcement and reserved parking.
• Maintains an appropriate level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff representing diverse backgrounds and interests
• Ability to work independently
