Position Overview
As a Campus Registrar at Galen College of Nursing, you will recruit and support students, ensuring they have a positive experience and meeting all enrollment requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality student service and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of student records.
- Select, train, evaluate, and supervise campus Academic Records staff.
- Verify students' enrollment and admission requirements, including background checks.
- Process graduate records and ensure students are prepared for NCLEX® exams.
- Oversee readmission processes and notify students of status changes.
- Coordinate with other campus teams to meet student needs.
- Document and assist students with scheduling, attendance, and performance issues.
- Support students with uniform orders and track clinical compliance.
- Provide transcripts and verifications for students.
- Assist with budget planning and provide enrollment data to Academic Leadership.
- Communicate with students and staff on campus issues and recommend improvements.
- Lead the Campus Academic Records staff in achieving campus goals.
- Track and report on student interactions, placement, and other campus goals.
- Assist with creating and updating class and examination schedules.
- Work with program directors to facilitate schedule creation and maintenance.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required.
- Three (3) years’ experience in college or academic setting preferred.
- Knowledge of current student systems (CampusVue, Canvas, Unitime, Verified Credentials).
- Understanding of registration and records procedures and systems.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and communicate effectively.
- Physical requirements include walking, standing, and sitting for long periods.
