About the Role

The Other Ways To Give Program Officer for Campus Advancement will be a self-starter who can effectively prioritize and manage travel schedules. Frequent travel is required. A car is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• At the direction of YAF leadership, travel to schools to introduce students to the Foundation’s mission.
• Meet with existing Young Americans for Freedom chapters, the Foundation’s campus affiliate, to provide on-the-ground training and campus activism support.
• Provide daily reports on outreach activity and records of success.
• Develop ongoing relationships with other existing conservative clubs and encourage them to participate in Foundation programs.
• Investigate and document incidents of political correctness, violations of free speech, and liberal bias for possible stories to be included in the Foundation’s various publications.
• Develop relationships with supportive faculty on campus.
• Share Foundation success stories and advances on social media.
• Work at Foundation conferences and other student programs held around the country.

Requirements

• Committed to and enthusiastic about YAF’s mission and programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent research and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Effective communicator, both verbally and written.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a variety of personality types.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a collaborative, constructive team member.

Skills

• Outstanding copyediting skills (a plus).

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000
