As the Campus Recruiter, you will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, leading efforts to attract and engage top early-career talent through strategic campus partnerships and recruitment initiatives. You will manage full-cycle recruitment for internship and entry-level roles and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align hiring needs with talent pipelines. This position offers a hybrid work schedule based in Tulsa, OK with 25% travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate college, high school, and technical school recruiting initiatives, including the Orientation Program for College Recruits and Intern Program.
  • Complete full-cycle recruitment processes to fill vacancies, including:
    • Advising hiring supervisors on the recruitment process
    • Overseeing interview process
    • Screening resumes
    • Developing a pool of qualified candidates proactively
    • Recommending applicants for interviews
    • Making recommendations regarding hiring decisions
    • Reviewing pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and background results
    • Drafting and reviewing external employment ads and posting through ATS system
  • Attend career fairs and networking events.
  • Build and maintain relationships at colleges, universities, technical schools, and with Affirmative Action groups.
  • Compile, maintain, and prepare documentation of employment activities such as job application information, interview questions, job descriptions, employee documentation, offers of employment, and correspondence.
  • Assist hiring leaders to prioritize competencies and use behavioral-based interviewing, as well as applicable applicant assessment tools.
  • Track, compile, and prepare staffing and applicant data using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Provide advice and assist hiring leaders, employees, industry peers, and others regarding staffing and recruiting processes, employee benefits, employment alternatives, and interpreting policies.
  • Utilize social media to engage students for the College Recruits and Intern programs.
  • Assist with onboarding process.
  • Oversee and support talent programs including employee referrals, relocations, and temporary workers.
  • Serve as legal liaison for staff attorneys and candidates.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and additional work experience (typically, one and a half to two years of relevant experience is equivalent to one year of formal education).
  • Two to four years of relevant professional experience (minimum of one year required).
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience conducting employment interviews and analyzing applicant information.
  • Knowledge of human resource policies and procedures applicable to the position.
  • Experience interpreting and applying governmental regulations applicable to the position.
  • Experience using tools and equipment applicable to the position, including computers (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience and training related to:
    • Employment practices and related governmental regulations
    • Governmental regulations relative to equal employment, affirmative action, and disability
    • Interviewing skills
    • Customer service
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Interpersonal/communication skills
  • Experience compiling and preparing information and reports pertaining to employee data, interview questions, applicant statistics, health benefits, workplace accommodations, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
  • Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.
  • Experience reading and interpreting manuals, reports, governmental regulations, training materials, job information, documentation, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
  • Required applicable driver’s license.
  • Preferred Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate.
  • Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings, including travel to offices and job sites throughout the system.
  • Able to operate office tools and equipment required.
  • Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
