About the role

The Early Campus Recruiter attracts, engages, and hires emerging talent through internship, co-op, and entry-level programs. This role develops university partnerships, executes campus recruiting initiatives, enhances candidate experience, and builds a sustainable pipeline of future talent aligned with business workforce needs.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with universities, career centers, faculty, student organizations, and campus partners to create sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Develops and executes recruiting strategies that align with current and future workforce needs across assigned business functions.
  • Proactively identifies and engages early-career talent through internships, co-op programs, campus events, digital outreach, and talent communities long before graduation.
  • Delivers an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, transparency, and a streamlined recruiting process that reflects the organization's culture and values.
  • Partners effectively with hiring managers, HR business partners, and business leaders to understand workforce needs and align recruiting strategies with future talent demands.
  • Creates compelling employer branding content and campus marketing initiatives that increase awareness, engagement, and interest among students and recent graduates.
  • Uses recruiting metrics, market insights, and program performance data to continuously improve sourcing strategies, campus partnerships, and hiring outcomes.
  • Demonstrates strong project management skills by coordinating recruiting events, internship programs, interview coordination, onboarding activities, and stakeholder communications with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing recommendations on campus recruiting trends, market conditions, and best practices.
  • Focuses on building a diverse, high-quality early talent pipeline while driving intern-to-full-time conversion and long-term workforce planning objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of campus recruiting, university relations, or early career talent acquisition experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully hiring and converting early career talent.
  • Proven success in developing and managing university partnerships, internship programs, career fairs, and campus recruiting initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with hiring managers, HR teams, university partners, and candidates.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences ranging from students to senior leaders.
  • Strong sourcing and talent attraction skills across campus, digital, and social recruiting channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a positive candidate experience through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Strong organizational and event management skills, including coordinating recruiting campaigns, career fairs, internships, and onboarding activities.
  • Ability to interpret recruiting data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to recruiting strategies and campus partnerships.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning principles and building long-term talent pipelines aligned to business needs.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

Pay

This is a salaried exempt role with a starting salary range of $66,000 - $87,000 annually, depending on geography/market and the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Eligible for an annual bonus under the Company’s applicable plan. Not eligible for overtime.
