About the role

This full-time, on-site role based in Menlo Park, CA supports day-to-day audio visual operations across campus spaces, including conference rooms, event areas, and collaboration zones.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and strike AV equipment for meetings and events.
  • Monitor AV systems during live sessions to ensure high-quality audio and video delivery.
  • Troubleshoot AV issues and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Maintain inventory and documentation of equipment and configurations.
  • Perform routine system checks and support video conferencing and streaming needs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability and user experience.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with Video Conferencing platforms and related hardware for meetings and live events.
  • Practical skills in managing Lighting and Projectors in conference rooms and event spaces.
  • Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting AV issues and resolving technical problems under time pressure.
  • Knowledge of signal flow, cabling standards, and basic networking concepts relevant to AV environments.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support users at all levels of technical comfort.
  • Ability to work on-site, move and lift AV equipment as needed, and operate safely within campus facilities.
  • Prior experience in corporate campus AV, events, or live production environments is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant technical certifications or coursework in AV, IT, or related fields are a plus.
