Student AV Tech
About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to offer operational first line support for Computer and Audio Visual issues in teaching and learning spaces. This position will interface with directly with faculty and students in classrooms to address technology issues, and will act as an escalation point into the IT Classroom AV Operations Team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in AV Operations by trouble shooting standard audio/video systems and pathways, as well as basic computer and collaboration software (TEAMS) troubleshooting
- Avoid assist in the operations and maintenance of technology in classrooms and conference room environments
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds. (important when moving and transporting equipment)
- Help train faculty in all media rich classrooms
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be a USF student, provide at least 16 hours of availability, have student class schedule, and must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
