AV Technician

Based in Harrisburg, we are a growing AV integrator. We support commercial, federal, and religious institutions. Are you passionate about the world of audio-visual technology? Responsibilities

• Designing, programming, and commissioning AV systems using Extron control systems and BI-AMP technology.
• Providing technical support for AV equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement AV solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
• Conducting regular maintenance checks and updates on AV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Providing training and guidance to end-users on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to provide innovative and effective solutions.
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an AV Technician or a similar role in the engineering industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Extron control systems, BI-AMP technology, and other related AV technologies.
• Proficiency in programming and commissioning AV systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Extron Certified Control Professional (ECP), Biamp TesiraFORTÉ, or similar will be an added advantage.
