AV Technician

Responsibilities
- Designing, programming, and commissioning AV systems using Extron control systems and BI-AMP technology.
- Providing technical support for AV equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement AV solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
- Conducting regular maintenance checks and updates on AV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Providing training and guidance to end-users on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to provide innovative and effective solutions.
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an AV Technician or a similar role in the engineering industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Extron control systems, BI-AMP technology, and other related AV technologies.
- Proficiency in programming and commissioning AV systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Extron Certified Control Professional (ECP), Biamp TesiraFORTÉ, or similar will be an added advantage.
