About the role
Campus Minister for Justice and Immersions at Fairfield University's Office of Campus Ministry.
Responsibilities
- Implements Ignatian formation of immersion teams and leaders
- Oversees the planning of new and existing immersion opportunities
- Leads justice programming in the Office of Campus Ministry
- Collaborates with the Center for Social Impact on building and maintaining the Community Engagement Hub in Bridgeport
- Serves as a pastoral presence at Bellarmine Campus
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Theology, Divinity, or Pastoral Ministry
- Practicing Catholic preferred
- 2 years of experience within a college or university Campus Ministry environment, ideally showing deep engagement with first generation students, non-traditional students, and/or students in 2-year degree programs
- Deep knowledge of Ignatian Spirituality, Ignatian formation, Catholic Social Teaching, and Social Justice
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
