Campus Director Assistant

About the role

The Assistant Campus Director assists the Campus Director with the vision, leadership, and direction of the Southern Careers Institute campus. This role oversees campus operations, education, admissions, financial aid, career services, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities consistent with established goals, budgets, objectives, and policies
• Manage daily building operations, maintenance, and custodial duties
• Lead staff effectively and develop campus relationships
• Ensure daily implementation of all initiatives from the Campus Director
• Engage students and staff to maximize effectiveness, grow enrollment, and improve completion and placement rates
• Plan and execute campus-specific programs concerning organizational, operational, and academic functions
• Identify opportunities and areas for improvement within each functional area of the campus
• Mentor and guide subordinates and other employees
• Provide and/or coordinate appropriate training for subordinates
• Schedule and oversee human resource activities including interviewing, hiring, and training of employees
• Assist in resolving student issues and complaints before escalation to the School Director level
• Supervise day-to-day operations of campus by managing Directors of Admissions, Education, Financial Aid, and Career Services functions and all campus personnel
• Act as Acting Campus Director in the absence of the primary Campus Director

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Education, Business, or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience at a post-secondary education institute
• 1-3 years supervising professional staff members
• Experience at a post-secondary educational institute preferred
• 1-3 years of professional experience planning, analyzing, and evaluating programs and services, operational needs, and fiscal constraints
