About the role

The Assistant Campus Director assists the Campus Director with the vision, leadership, and direction of the Southern Careers Institute campus. This position oversees campus operations, education, admissions, financial aid, career services, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Campus Directors in managing campus operations by coordinating activities consistent with established goals, budgets, objectives, and policies.
  • Aid in fiscal planning activities such as developing budgets, forecasts, and targets.
  • Manage daily building operations, maintenance, and custodial duties.
  • Lead staff effectively and develop campus relationships, establishing high expectations and communicating them clearly.
  • Ensure daily implementation of all initiatives from the Campus Director.
  • Engage with students and staff to enhance employee effectiveness, grow student enrollment, and maximize completion and placement rates.
  • Plan campus-specific programs concerning organizational, operational, and academic functions of the campus, and oversee their execution.
  • Identify opportunities and areas for improvement within each functional area of the campus.
  • Mentor and guide subordinates and other employees at the campus.
  • Provide and/or coordinate appropriate training for subordinates.
  • Assist with human resource activities on campus, including interviewing, hiring, and training of employees.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of campus by managing Directors of Admissions, Education, Financial Aid, and Career Services functions and all campus personnel.
  • Act as Acting Campus Director in the absence of the primary Campus Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Education, Business, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience at a post-secondary education institute.
  • 1-3 years supervising professional staff members, experience at a post-secondary educational institute preferred.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience planning, analyzing, and evaluating programs and services, operational needs, and fiscal constraints.
