Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and newly enrolled students throughout the admissions process
- Follow up with students via phone, email, and in-person consultations to support enrollment and class start preparation
- Assist students in understanding funding resources and navigating the admissions and financial aid process
- Coordinate and schedule student appointments, orientation sessions, and campus visits
- Maintain accurate student records and update contact history within the student information system
- Monitor and track prospective student progression to support class start forecasting
- Collaborate with Admissions, Financial Aid, Career Services, and Student Services teams to support student needs
- Provide support for admissions events and campus engagement activities
- Assist with admissions documentation and ensure required enrollment files are completed and compliant
- Maintain admissions communications and campus information boards
- Participate in weekly admissions and campus meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Admissions, education, or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with financial aid processes is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service mindset and commitment to student success
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working with diverse populations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
Schedule
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (one of those nights will be 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Fridays: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Saturdays: 1-2 times a month as needed to support career fairs and open house events
Pay
$23 - $26 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
