Camper Van Technician
About the role
Wayfarer Vans is seeking a full-time Camper Van Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling components, installing them according to customer orders, and performing light electrical work and vehicle modifications.
Responsibilities
- Use tools like nail guns, sanders, routers, saws, and drills to assemble pre-designed components with care and precision in the production shop.
- Install those components in the correct sequence in the installation shop using hand and power tools.
- Perform light electrical work and basic vehicle modifications such as installing vent fans and windows or wiring low-voltage equipment.
- Take pride in doing things well, enjoy solving problems, work safely, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work safely.
- Desire to be part of a team focused on building high-quality camper vans.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing or installation roles preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Pay
$23 - $25 hourly
Schedule
Depending on production needs and team scheduling, employees may have the option to work a flexible schedule with a three-day weekend each week. Traditional five-day schedules may end at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
