Campaign Intern

Join the Re-Elect Nikki Perez campaign as a Campaign Intern and gain hands-on experience in local government, political campaigns, voter outreach, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Commit approximately 10 hours per week to campaign activities, with flexible scheduling available.
  • Connect with Burbank voters through phone banking.
  • Participate in door-to-door canvassing and community outreach.
  • Assist with campaign projects, including social media, policy research, event support, and volunteer recruitment.
  • Support other campaign activities as needed.

Professional Development

This is an unpaid internship. Interns will have opportunities to participate in educational workshops led by professionals working in law, nonprofit leadership, government, political campaigns, and other fields.

Ideal Candidates

  • Interested in public service, local government, politics, or community organizing.
  • Dependable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable communicating with voters and community members.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a campaign team.
  • Committed to completing approximately 10 hours per week.

Prior campaign experience is not required. Training and guidance will be provided.
