Coordinated Campaign Intern

About the role

The New York State Democratic Committee seeks interns to join their team in 2026. Interns will assist their assigned field organizers with volunteer recruitment and management while also conducting voter outreach in their communities.

Responsibilities

• Hit defined field goals, including traditional grassroots voter contact metrics.
• Participate and help execute regular civic engagement events, information sessions, tabling, and more.
• Assist their assigned field organizer(s) with volunteer recruitment, management, and escalation.
• Adhere to strong data integrity standards and ensure data is accurately recorded in a timely manner.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• A highly organized and independent work style; a strong ability to multitask and communicate.
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to build relationships, listen, collaborate, and lead with respect and professionalism.

Pay

Interns will be paid $17/hour.
