The Opportunity

The Marketing Internship is an outstanding program where you’ll learn from experienced professionals and gain hands‑on experience in the Life Company organization creating marketing campaign audiences for Life Insurance, Annuities, Health Insurance and Investment products. Interns lead campaign requirement sessions, provide audience expertise, and assist in determining forecasted volumes. They oversee the build, execution, and delivery of accurate audience data, handling complexity or data‑security limitations as needed. The internship is based at USAA Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, with the possibility of full‑time roles at satellite locations.

What You’ll Do

• Build and refine target marketing audiences
• Analyze funnel fall‑out
• Apply data‑science models to improve response rates

What You Need To Have

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, with graduation after the final day of the internship (graduation date cannot be prior to August 13 2027)
• Most interns participate the summer between their junior and senior years; the 2027 internship runs June 2 2027 – August 13 2027
• Major in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Marketing Analysis, or a related field
• Additional experience, projects, or coursework relevant to the role

What Sets You Apart

• Graduation date between August 2027 and June 2028
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Familiarity with data‑analysis tools such as Snowflake and/or Tableau
• Understanding of paid media and target‑marketing channels
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to peers and leaders

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $25 – $33 per hour. Interns will receive an intern stipend to assist with expenses. USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
