About the role

This role is responsible for logistics, data management, and coordination for Blood Cancer United designated market and peer-to-peer fundraising products to exceed revenue goals within a designated market area.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Education, Services, and Health Research departments to effectively communicate the Blood Cancer United overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
  • Act as an on-site manager during campaign fundraising events, overseeing activities, staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure participant satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Oversee logistics, timelines, and other operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
  • Provide input into the development of a strategic plan for peer-to-peer fundraising products, including revenue, budget, goals, and timelines.
  • Manage expense budgets related to logistics.
  • Research and recommend event venues and location sites based on campaign standards in coordination with National Shared Services and the Logistics Team.
  • Responsible for assigned peer-to-peer fundraising teams to achieve overall revenue goals, working in conjunction with the Volunteer Coordinator and collaborating with local relationship teams and national shared service partners.
  • Manage data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Provide reports to the fundraising relationship team as needed.
  • Connect with vendors to secure the best rates or in-kind donations of services.
  • Provide general business support, including data entry, processing letters for campaigns, customizing webpages, coordinating logistics for events, and scheduling committee and board meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years’ experience in a related role.

Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Use of digital and social media.
  • Collaboration skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and lead a group of volunteers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.
  • May be required to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds for various events.
  • Travel within designated area.
  • Required to work some evenings or weekends.

Pay

The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Base compensation is one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
