Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Transport participants and associates to designated locations and off-site programs.
• Ensure vehicles are in safe working order through regular safety checks, keeping mileage logs, and reporting any issues to camp leadership.
• Contribute to the Y movement by facilitating access to Y programs and experiences for participants and associates.

Qualifications

• An interest in the well-being of camp-age children.
• Enthusiasm, patience, and good humor.
• A good spirit and the ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively to children, parents/guardians, members, and other Y associates.
• Agreement to abide by The Code of Conduct with Youth, which includes treating youth with respect and fairness, avoiding inappropriate interactions, and reporting suspected mistreatment.
• Completion of training on child abuse prevention and compliance with legal reporting requirements.
