Cambodia-IT Expert

About the role

The IT Expert will work alongside nationals in Phnom Penh and outlying provinces, training them in technology. Tasks may include:

• Creating and maintaining websites
• Using mobile phones and radio for evangelism and teaching
• Providing computer training and support to missionaries

Responsibilities

As part of a holistic church-planting team, the IT Expert will need to be creative and resourceful in less-than-ideal circumstances. This role will use technological talents and critical thinking skills to support church-planting teams in Phnom Penh.

Requirements

• A degree in information technology and/or previous work experience
• A passion for teaching information technologies
• The ability to lead and train nationals passionate in using information technology to reach their own people with the gospel
• Develop and facilitate IT programs
• Supervise and direct national staff (if applicable)
• Source resources in Cambodia and in the USA
