Duties and Responsibilities
- Under immediate supervision, perform entry-level/semi-skilled work in a variety of departments.
- Work assignments may involve the use of special equipment, software applications, or tools per an established procedure.
- May have the responsibility to direct the work of lower-level student employees.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in classes for the current semester and awarded federal work-study through the financial aid office.
- Little or no prior experience or education required for Student Assistant I.
- Some previous knowledge, experience, or education required for Student Assistant II.
- Prior experience, education, or specialized skills required for Student Assistant III.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to balance work and studies.
Conditions of Employment
- Must verify federal work-study award, class schedule, employment history, and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must complete fingerprinting, present original documents, and participate in a new hire onboarding appointment.
- Regular attendance is essential.
