Duties and Responsibilities

- Balance work and studies.
- Work within the class timings and exam schedule of the student.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in classes for the current semester.
- Awarded federal work-study through the financial aid office.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the same student assistant assignment, depending on level.
Skills and Competencies
- Limited independent judgment and decision-making.
- Ability to balance work and studies.
Conditions of Employment
- At-will employee, not benefits eligible.
- Maximum of 19.5 hours per week during fall and spring semesters, 28 hours per week outside of these periods.
- No employment in other capacities during the same fiscal year.
- Verification of federal work-study award, class schedule, employment history, background check, eligibility to work in the US, and approval by the CCCD Board of Trustees required.
- No fringe benefits or pay for holidays or time not worked.
