About the role
Charley’s Taxi is hiring English-speaking call takers. As a key member of the team, you will handle high volumes of customer, agency, and driver calls, typing information into the dispatch system while multitasking to assist the dispatcher.
Responsibilities
- Taking on-demand and reservation taxi orders
- Looking up order information, addresses, taxi fare estimates, etc. on the computer to answer questions
- Aiding with office tasks during slower periods
- Keeping up with ever-changing company policies and prices
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Oahu residency
- On-site position
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in using a computer and dispatch system
- Customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of local taxi regulations and fares
