Call Taker - ComTrans - Located in Milwaukie, OR

Located in Milwaukie, OR. Full-time, non-exempt position.

About the role

As a Call Taker, you will receive incoming calls from external customers requesting transportation. You will deliver a high level of customer service and data entry accuracy while meeting set standards. ComTrans is a safety-sensitive company.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls
• Utilize the order system to enter client orders accurately
• Provide customers with trip details and confirmation numbers
• Ensure the customer experience is responsive and professional at all times
• Conduct self-audits to ensure a high level of data entry accuracy
• Participate in workgroups to brainstorm improvements in efficiencies
• Reach call and data entry goals as set by Manager/Call Center Supervisor
• Adhere to work schedule

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (preferred but not required)
• At least 18 years old
• 1 year of call center experience preferred
• Flexible work schedule to meet organizational needs
• Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing
• Well-organized, efficient, and able to prioritize duties
• Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office and able to learn internal systems
• High level of customer service for both internal and external customers
• Professional, businesslike manner and conduct
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to de-escalate situations effectively
• Work independently and as a strong team player
• Use sound judgment, make timely decisions, and solve problems
• Possess exceptional follow-up skills
• Work well under pressure

Pay

$20.00 per hour
