About the role

The Call Center Specialist position at Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) involves providing consistent, quality customer service to both internal staff members and external patients. The role requires active management of calls to enhance the customer experience and build relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Takes ownership of each call to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Manages requests such as scheduling appointments, transmitting messages to the clinical team, and answering questions about medication refills.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in data entry, insurance billing, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Exhibits strong customer service skills, multi-tasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal communication.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Associate's Degree
  • Experience in a Call Center or busy phone system
  • Electronic appointment scheduling experience
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills (optional)

Skills

Schedule

This is a full-time position (40 hours) with hours that may include evenings and weekends. Hours are to be worked in Eastern Standard Time.
