About the role
The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a full-time Call Center Specialist to handle a high volume of incoming phone calls.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner
- Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing for clear, legible messages
- Transfer and take detailed messages as needed
- Schedule appointments according to physician profiles
- Assist with insurance/billing tasks
- Avoid any other task assigned as directed
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Multi-lined phone experience preferred
- Customer Service Representative experience preferred
- Some insurance/billing experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Outstanding organizational and writing skills
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely
- Independent, self-starting, and highly motivated
- Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
