Call Center Representative - Full Time

About the role

Under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Patient Services Coordinator, this position facilitates patients’ food requests using the computer system and processes paperwork for the area per established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Remains professional and follows through with patient, nurse, RD, or Coordinator for all phone calls as needed.
• Reviews patient listing, checks special services, diet orders, LDAs, and preferences; makes adjustments to patients’ files as needed.
• Generates meal tallies and maintenance reports as needed.
• Processes Epic printouts; follows through on all tray requests, supplemental orders, allergies, and diet changes, making appropriate adjustments to patients’ files.
• Enters the tube feeding order from Epic into Hospitality Suite accurately; sends correct products with labels attached appropriately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Word processing skills.

Physical and mental demands

• Sedentary work.
• Repetitive motion of hands, fingers, and wrist.

Pay

Pay range: $17.25 - $25.90 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Schedule

Full-time, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, including every other weekend. Occasional 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM shift.
