About the role

WAC Lighting is seeking a Call Center Representative to join our sales support team in Port Washington, NY.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer, live chats, and sales emails inquires in an accurate, efficient and courteous manner.
• Work in a team environment to exceed client expectations.
• Act as a customer liaison by providing exceptional professional level customer service.
• Manage and resolve general customer service issues.
• Handle technical troubleshooting for lighting products - Training provided.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and assignments through completion.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Manage the integrity and accuracy of the database.

Critical Success Factors

• Ability to hit monthly goals such as call, live chat and working rate targets.
• Ability to work as a team player to hit team goals such as drop call targets.
• Ability to take self-guided product trainings in a timely and efficient matter.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working directly with customers, preferably in a call center environment.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks/demands and get results.
• Strong organization and attention to detail skills a must.
• Strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications - SAP a big plus.
