About the role

Teach employees are seeking a Call Center Representative to join their team in Hauppauge, NY. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries efficiently, and manage multiple calls simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from members and non-members
  • Handle member inquiries regarding accounts, loans, and other financial services
  • Process transactions and requests according to Teach Employees' policies and procedures
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers
  • Handle escalated issues and assist in problem resolution

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in a call center environment is preferred but not required

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
