About the role
Teach employees are seeking a Call Center Representative to join their team in Hauppauge, NY. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries efficiently, and manage multiple calls simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from members and non-members
- Handle member inquiries regarding accounts, loans, and other financial services
- Process transactions and requests according to Teach Employees' policies and procedures
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers
- Handle escalated issues and assist in problem resolution
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in a call center environment is preferred but not required
