About the role
This position requires working a weekend shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch).
Responsibilities
- Working with and servicing all types of RMD and commercial electronic and electromechanical test equipment.
- Performing diagnosis, repair, and modification in the servicing of electronic and electromechanical test equipment.
- Initial and periodic testing, calibration, and certification of electronic and electromechanical test equipment under manufacturing and standards lab conditions.
- Must be able to work any designated shift, including overnight.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
- Three (3) years experience in the operation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of electronic, electromechanical, standard and precision measuring equipment in a manufacturing and/or standards laboratory environment; or, equivalent technical training in the repair and calibration of precision measuring equipment, and the science of measurements (metrology).
- Used the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) specifications in the performance of job duties.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.
