Key Responsibilities
- fulfills the production list, given by management, which includes all cakes for orders and house and/or prep items
- executes all recipes consistently according to the recipes and standards
- ensures all decorated items reflect the highest standards of quality, consistency, aesthetics, and taste
- demonstrates safe food handling practices and follows safety procedures for using equipment and cleaning supplies
- operates and monitors proper functioning of equipment to include mixers and choppers; follows safety procedures for using equipment; sanitize work area during and after use
- exhibits great customer service when needed
Qualifications & Ingredients for Success
- at least one year of professional kitchen experience required or a degree from an accredited culinary school or program
- hands-on, flexible, and highly responsive
- organized, good time management skills
Hours of Work
Approximately 40 hours per week.
