Cake Froster
Job Responsibilities
- Follow Nothing Bundt Cakes proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.
- Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade or handheld mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes.
- Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frosts cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
- Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintains appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
- Adhere to the proper packaging, labeling and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains frosting and refrigeration logs.
- Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notifies management when replenishment is required.
- Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes standards are met and informs management of any quality control issues.
- Clean, sanitize and restock workstation, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash any equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
- Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
Requirements
Previous bakery experience is a plus, but not required.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Frosters will be scheduled 20-35 hours per week Monday-Sunday. Must have the flexibility to work two or more morning, midday, or evening shifts. Shifts times may vary but typically the hours are morning (8:30am-3pm), midday (10am-4pm or 11am-5pm), evening (1:30pm-7:30pm).
Bakery hours are Monday-Saturday: 9am-7pm, Sunday: 11am-4pm.
