Cake Decorator $20-$22.50/hr*

Responsibilities

• Support the bakery in stocking the case with fresh, beautiful, high-quality products.
• Prepare a variety of cakes, desserts, and pastries consistently at a high rate of speed.
• Mix creams, sauces, fillings, and icings.
• Apply finishing work to cakes.
• Take guest orders by phone and in-person.
• Aid the bakers and bakery clerks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• An eye for color, texture, and design with an attention to detail.
• Experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on individual tasks.
• Basic understanding of the English language, including communication, reading, and writing basic instructions, schedules, and signage.
• A positive attitude is essential.
