Job Summary
Performs receptionist and secretarial duties in a patient care setting. Registers admissions when Registration Department is not available. Assists all departments to complete daily discharge chart requirements. Assists supervisor as needed with various assignments. Participates in performance improvement activities. In charge of CPSI ED log charges, daily/monthly statistics and order entry. Answers phones and assists customers or gets someone who can assist.

- Support supervisor with various assignments
- Participate in performance improvement activities
- Manage CPSI ED log charges, daily/monthly statistics, and order entry
- Answer phones and assist customers or direct them to appropriate staff

- Close and accurate attention to detail

- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
Preferred:
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Previous reception or secretarial experience
Pay
Base pay range: $19.68–$26.86 per hour. This rate does not include the per diem rate of $2 per hour nor the overnight shift differentials of $5 (hours worked between 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, must work 4 hours to qualify) and $6 (hours worked between 11:00 PM–7:00 AM).
