About the Role
An Emergency Department (ED) Technician assists ER doctors and nurses with delivering medical care. ED Techs keep the emergency room clean and organized and provide basic patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized emergency department environment.
- Provide basic patient care tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Medical experience preferred.
- EKG competency preferred.
- Phlebotomy competency preferred.
Pay
Base pay range: $22.05 – $28.90 per hour. Shift differentials are not included in this rate (Evenings +$5, Nights +$6). An additional $2 per diem differential also applies.
Schedule
Per diem position with night shift coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with various additional shifts as needed.
