Cage Cashier, Southland Casino

Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Cage Cashiers to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. This is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed does not include any potential tipped earnings.

$15.00 - $15.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Handle large sums of money, including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services
• Maintain an accurate count of banks
• Perform regular cash buys to the Cage Supervisor
• Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits
• Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Six months’ cash handling experience preferred; experience handling large amounts of money
• Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction
• Basic computer skills
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
• Exposure to secondhand smoke
