About the role
The Summit Center is Western New York’s leading provider of evidence-based services for children and adults with autism and other developmental, social, and behavioral challenges. Our team is dedicated to helping every individual we serve achieve their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities
- Provides supervision and instructional support for students with autism and other developmental disabilities during lunch periods.
- Maintains a safe and organized cafeteria environment.
- Demonstrate professional knowledge of children with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain an organized, clean and effective cafeteria environment.
- Monitor and assist with students during classroom lunch periods.
- Assist in implementing established curriculum during lunch periods.
- Cookout and collaborate with Support Service Personnel.
- Manage behavioral challenges.
- Adhere to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and Respect.
- Adhere to the Summit Center employment policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to dress code, attendance and punctuality, and Paid Time Off.
- Perform any other duties as requested by your supervisor.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.

- Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm
