Cafeteria/Line Server

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in last minute preparation of food ensuring good quality and quantity
• Assist in setting up serving line
• Serve and clean up
• Ensures cleanliness of kitchen and surrounding areas by cleaning pots, pans, and serving utensils when service is complete
• Effectively use commercial dishwasher
• Ensures food items are kept safe, using Servesafe methods
• Communicates with kitchen manager or lead cook

Qualifications

• One to three years food service experience preferred
• Servesafe certification preferred, but will train

Working Environment

• The employee is frequently required to sit
• The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Terms of Employment

• Salary based on Grade A of the approved Food Services Salary schedule as established by the Governing Board
• 180 days, 4 hours per day

Clearances

• Criminal Justice/Fingerprint Clearance
• Measles/Mumps/Rubella Immunity/Vaccination
• Valid I-9 form
