The Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for providing great service to our internal guests and maintaining the colleague dining room. This culinary position requires basic communication skills and the ability to lift and carry moderate weight. Food and beverage experience is a plus. This position will also have the opportunity to cross train as a Cook 1!

Responsibilities

• Prep and stock salad bar
• Keep condiments stocked
• Take inventory and submit an order for restocking
• Take temperature of food items to ensure food safety
• Keep the general cleanliness of employee break room
• Have clear communication with the café cook and help with prepping and cooking when possible

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Basic communication skills required
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Possess valid food handlers' permit

Pay

The salary range for this position is $22.00 to $28.60. The starting rate for this position is $22.00. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.
