About the role
The Café Cashier Server at Bellevue Golf Course is responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing cash transactions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and promptly
- Ensure a welcoming and professional greeting to all guests
- Provide knowledgeable and enthusiastic service about menu items and specials
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized café environment
- Support team members in resolving issues and enhancing the overall dining experience
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Manage reservations and take preliminary bookings
- Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
- Perform side work to ensure the café is ready for service
Requirements
- At least one year of cooking experience
- Experience in managing and upholding a safe working condition
- Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) and phone systems
- Proper cash handling and turn-in standards
- Understanding and demonstration of proper side work and cleanliness standards
- Service sequence with guests and understanding of dining room flow mechanics
- Understanding of reservations procedures and banquet information
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
- Understanding of and adherence to safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) and phone systems
