About the Role
As a Ginna’s Cafe Associate, you will provide world-class customer service by delivering quality food and beverage products. This role represents Scheels as a friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable professional to all customers and fellow associates.

Responsibilities
- Prepare food, drinks, and ingredients, including candy, baked goods, and fudge for customer sale
- Perform Barista, Café, and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions (deli line, food case, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, etc.) as assigned
- Maintain working knowledge of Café recipes, beverages, and prepared foods
- Meet deadlines for fudge production and customer requests
- Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels, state, and local ordinances
- Ensure products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines
- Follow Scheels Cashier Guidelines for Café registers
- Manage side work, stocking, daily and detailed cleaning schedules, including machines and equipment
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Maintain an orderly and clean workspace, including dining areas
- Perform repetitive fudge production processes (stirring, pulling, cutting)
- Communicate effectively with customers and employees
- Read and interpret operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
- Work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- High school education or up to one month of related experience/training (or equivalent combination)
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly
- Awareness of food allergens (dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, etc.)
