Cafe Associate

Position Summary

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and works in various areas to meet business needs.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Prepares food according to specifications; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; understands and plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick-up orders, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the brand; develops, influences, and inspires others; respects, supports, and works in a team-oriented manner; understands roadblocks and assists in training.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Acknowledges the need to complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if offered the position.
• Preferred Qualifications: Food Safety Certification, Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety)
