Cafe Associate
Position Summary
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and works in various areas to meet business needs.

- Be a Team Member: Prepares food according to specifications; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; understands and plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service; assists members with purchasing decisions; locates merchandise; resolves member issues and concerns.

Paid Time Off
PTO and/or PTTO can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount received depends on job classification and length of employment. It meets or exceeds the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.
Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

The schedule for this position may vary based on the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Acknowledges the need to complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if offered the position.
- Preferred Qualifications: Food Safety Certification, Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
