Cafe Associate

Position Summary

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and works in other areas to meet business needs.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Prepares food according to specifications; plans future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be an Expert: Utilizes digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, receiving, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages their use.
• Be a Techie: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assists with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
• Be an Owner: Advocates for the brand; develops, influences, and inspires others; understands and addresses roadblocks; trains team members; being a brand advocate.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; implements related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
