CAE Engineer - Durability

Responsibilities

• Utilize Ansa for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
• Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing Abaqus.
• Develop and report countermeasures using nCode and Metapost for post processing.
• Optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
• Communicate effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
• Utilize best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.
• Create and update project schedules using Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years relevant experience.
• Education with specialties in Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, or Manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with CAE tools Abaqus, Ansa, and nCode is required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
