CADD Technician

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CADD software under direction of senior designers and engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers to support the development of detailed drawings for construction plans from engineering notes, sketches, markups, and other reference materials.
• Ensure that all documentation meets client standards, project specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Provide valuable support on projects across various regions.
• Gain exposure to diverse transportation design standards and practices.
• Support the growth of the Transportation CADD team as a company resource for roadway, traffic, drainage, and other discipline production efforts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational school, associate degree, or certificate in CADD technology, drafting, civil engineering technology, or related field preferred.
• 0 - 2 years of experience with CADD drafting.
• Familiarity with at least one CADD platform (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to learn new CADD platforms as needed.
• Basic understanding of civil design concepts, especially in transportation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
