Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CADD software under direction of senior designers and engineers.
- Collaborate with engineers to support the development of detailed drawings for construction plans from engineering notes, sketches, markups, and other reference materials.
- Ensure that all documentation meets client standards, project specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Provide valuable support on projects across various regions.
- Gain exposure to diverse transportation design standards and practices.
- Support the growth of the Transportation CADD team as a company resource for roadway, traffic, drainage, and other discipline production efforts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Vocational school, associate degree, or certificate in CADD technology, drafting, civil engineering technology, or related field preferred.
- 0 - 2 years of experience with CADD drafting.
- Familiarity with at least one CADD platform (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to learn new CADD platforms as needed.
- Basic understanding of civil design concepts, especially in transportation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
