CADD Drafter

About the role

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI), a leading power engineering consultant firm, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Phoenix, AZ office as a drafter/designer.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry-level computer aided drafting support for electrical substation engineering projects.
• Create and modify working design documents following acceptable drafting standards including dimensioning, layering, line-types and plotting.
• Work from engineering markups, sketches, and/or verbal direction.
• Create plans, views, sections, details, steel structures and foundations, electrical schematics, wiring and connection details.

Requirements

• Preferred two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design, or a minimum two years on the job experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation CADD programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 3D and Raster Editing experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation CADD programs.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Experience with 3D and Raster Editing.
