CADD Drafter

About the role

The successful candidate will join Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI), a leading power engineering consultant firm based in Cumberland, ME.

Responsibilities

- Drafting and design support to multimer design teams involved with conceptual, preliminary, and final design of station projects 34.5 kV through 345 kV. - Perform a variety of assignments, including design of substation physical drawings, substation electrical wiring, and schematic diagrams. - Develop materials list and other duties as determined by management staff.

Requirements

- College degree in an acceptable curriculum, two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design, or a minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-sided drafting/design field. - Proficient in AutoCAD and possess a strong computer aptitude in a Windows environment; MicroStation experience a plus. - Proven effective verbal and written communication skills; proven excellent level of interpersonal skills; ability to work individually and on a team. - Detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills. - Proven ability to work with confidential information. - Proven ability to exercise independent judgment.
